Zimbabwe
Water Infrastructure & Resilient Agroecology
The Challenge
Prolonged droughts and economic instability have severely impacted food security, leaving rural communities vulnerable. Access to clean water for farming and daily use is critically low.
Our Programme
The Resilient Agroecology Initiative focuses on building sustainable water infrastructure and training farmers in climate-smart agriculture to ensure year-round harvests regardless of rainfall.
The People
We partner directly with rural farming cooperatives and women-led households in semi-arid regions of Zimbabwe.

Key Activities
- Construction of deep-water boreholes and solar-powered irrigation systems.
- Training in regenerative agriculture and soil conservation techniques.
- Distribution of drought-resistant seed varieties tailored to the local climate.
